The rubber seal around my speedo is all ripped up and whenever it rains or theres moisture I get fog in the speedo.

Is there any way to remove the speedo from the factory mount? For the life of me I'm not seeing how to get it out of there

 

Not sure that I recall how, but yes, it all comes apart. Did so when I relocated mine.

 

I replaced my "speedometer cushion" on my 1991, very easy. Just take off the speedo cable, take off the two small cap nuts and speedo cover, and you can take off the old cushion and stretch a new one over the speedo and it's done. That may not help your fogging problem, but you'll have a nice new rubber around your speedo. I think 1993 is similar to the 1991.
