The trial bike riders can wheelie with no forward motion but the motion they do use is by balancing the bike while up on the pegs and compressing the front suspensionthen when it rebounds pull the bars and let clutch out. I'm sure if you've got your balancing act down good I'll bet you could come close.

Well, there was this one time.....a long time ago.....I had too much to drink.....was leaving a friends house and was known for doing some awesome burnouts, well......this one night I kinda forgot the wife was on the back.......reved it up and dumped the clutch....a sportster will go straight up in the air with no forward momentum! True story. Wife still isn't happy and that was 15 years ago. LOL Find a different way!
