Default 180 60 16 on a solid rear wheel

I guess I need a 4" wide wheel probably? I want to run as much factory stuff as possible but I know I'll need to mod a lot to fit...what r my options for solid rear wheels ? Does his tire size look terrible on a stock 3.5 solid wheel?

All you need to do is find a wheel from a 2012-13 Fat bob. It shares the same axel and the wheel dimensions are 17x4.5.

well if you do that then you will be doing alot of grinding and buffing of your frame. The dyna wheel is the only alternative that requires no work to be done. Only work that may need to be do is probably spacing the wheel to be exactly centered with your frame.

Yes, & no. All Bobs are not created equal.

'08-13 FXDF FAT Bob rear wheels are 16x5.00 & use a 180/70-16 Dunlop D427

'06-13 FXDB STREET Bob rear wheels are 17x4.50 & use a 160/70B17 Dunlop K591
('06-07 can probably be used after changing bearings from 1" to 25mm)

Maybe for a 2004-2013...
On a '94, it's not gonna be an amateur project.
Your bike came with a 130mm tire, a 180mm is 2 inches wider.
Do you have more than an inch of space on each side?
The bearings would need to be changed from 25mm to 3/4".
The pulley/sprocket/rotor will probably not line up.

It would probably be easier & cheaper to build an Atlas Softail Sportster with 200mm tire.

Someone here just posted a thread about using a 17x4.5 wheel and a scortcher 180mm tire and it fit with no mods, besides using spacers to center the wheel under the stock fender. If i find it ill post it, but i believe you were right (street bob) not fat bob.

I can't say for sure because i have never done the mod, but am looking forward to doing it.
