Haven't seen those rocker covers before, look neat. Haven't seen a tread like that on a tire, either. Big tires make it look like you never lean much, so much rubber that never touches the road. Was noticing that on my 1200 the other day, just a strip down the middle, not even half the tire width - but I've hit metal on both sides, any farther than that, tire isn't even on the ground any more. Still looks mean, though.

I got the idea for the 180 rear from Tzrider. You're right, the wider rear is more of an aesthetic look for the bike. I know that I'll never use the whole tire contact patch. Just wanted to balance out the bike look.

The covers are supposedly rough crafts. I ordered it from eBay through a vendor out of China and not directly from Rough Crafts. They came in black and then gradually changed to the current color due to the heat so I don't know if they were anodized or powder coated.

What did I do to My Sportster today?
Well I installed V&H quiet baffles into my short shorts.
It took some time and care to remove the shields.I sprayed all bolts and fasteners with penetrating oil first. Getting the stock one out wasn't too bad. Installation of the new one was a breeze. Getting the shields on and off is where most of the work was for me.
Also I installed this bulb :PIAA 70456 Xtreme White Plus H4 60/55W Bulb - Each
And wiped it all down per the youse..

Just ordered VisionX Premium White Xenon H4 Headlight bulb from DK Customs. I previously used PIIA Xtreme White and it was excellent but a bit pricey. I am currently running a LED bulb which is great but going in for safety check and not sure if it will pass so bought DKs bulb as a spare just in case. The VisionX H4 bulb has a higher Kelvin temp @ 4300 than PIIA with 900 lumens at half the cost.

Installed the new Euroblast air-horn. This looks exactly like the Wolo Bad Boy but they claim it produces sound at 143 dB! I am no expert but when I tested after installation, my first reaction was "Holy Cr*p!!! This is LOUD!".
Installation took a couple of hours as I wanted it to be a clean install with all the wires and relay etc tucked away from sight. While I was at it, also rewired the license placte LED strip to just glow normally but flash in a left-to-right pattern when brakes are applied. Also removed its flashing pattern for turn signals as it was a little confusing. It looks much better now.
Also removed the flame mirrors that were sticking out above the fairing like rabbit ears and installed stock mirrors up-side down. No more rabbit ears as the flipped mirrors are completed hidden behind the fairing. It did take a few miles to getting used to the new mirror position but I think it will work.
