Weird that the switch would have died at the same time as me messing with the wires. Hope I didn't pinch the wire. Any way to check the switch without cutting wires?

Well if you kept everything 'connected', then I'd also say check
the fuses. Might've popped one...

good luck,

I bit the bullet and paid $250 for 1k mile service at the local dealer.
They also looked in to few other small things.

With all new fluids, and everything tightened, she is running better then ever.

Too bad its raining out...

Nein sir, clipped a lead to the switch :( little solder later and she was good to go. Then I found out these Frisco bars are a bit more 'superman' than I was planning on. Ended up sanding and painting the stocker for now. Might return the bars to revzilla depending on their return policy.

damn that sucks. :(
Well I think the bigger problem is the location of the dimples, the Frisco bars are meant to point straight up, which is how I ended up pinching the wires, by try to rotate them back too far and missing the dimple. I dont think risers would help, I need something with a Little more pull back, but not as much as the ones I have now.

Put a newer Iron seat on my 04 XL883. Can't decide just yet if I like it, but I will say I like the feel of it a lot more than the one I had.
