totally worth it. less effort. takes 1/2 hour. super easy if you have the right tools. do not do in the cold. in the first picture, the controls are torn down because i was messing around with the master cylinder and pinched the wires, so i was checking to see if any damage was done. it's not necessary to tear it all down. just need to remove the top of the switch housing.

I have no desire to ever get that far into the switch / controls again. It may only see like two small torx screws holding that switch assembly into the lower housing, but there's a whole lot of curse words hiding in there too. If I can get away with extending the turn signal switches without pulling the assembly from the lower housing, then I guess I'll give it a try next time I go to adjust my throttle.

Ordered. 21×3.25*& 18×5.5...

Done with the spoke stuff.. not going through the leak chasing again. *Just hocked accessories coverage to 8000. *16 more bucks

Im going to remove the right line (if i can find a plug the correct size) and caliper and put the skinny back on until the wheels get here in a few weeks.

will i ever actually ride this bike?

Ordered some custom Wesco 18 inch boss engineers (super boots) too.

Good stuff. Did you change the DNA from an exchange to a return?

Yes sir, it was on back order. I just cancelled it. I tried to go cheap and turned out to be more trouble than it was worth... leaking wheels, low availability, backorders... man... i was going to order the contrast black and chrome DNA Victory wheels we've all been drolling over but, then i saw the Colorado customs as i was about to order... here:
http://streetcustommotorcycle.com

Slept on it and then photoshopped the ness on the wheels... sold myself.

Called Colorado customs directly and they gave me 15% off everything. Less than i would have paid street customs.

What a soap opera! I would be really frustrated by now if I were in your shoes.

no frustration. the sporty always gets ridden more and is my main bike honestly. this is my hobby. i've learned so much in this past year. i would have never known that there was such a thing as a break line plug had this not have happened. it's awesome. lots of lessons here, hard knocks and "ah ha" moments. ... dealers f'ing up alarm programming, pinching wires, etc.... crash course in murphy's law. this just needs to be done so i can start in in my sporty to upgrade the front end and add the roadster wheels.

fun times

Excellent. Good to hear. Sucks when a project becomes a headache.
