Decided to swap out the Jagg 4700 oil cooler adapter for the
4500 version (with A/N fittings substitued) It was shipped
today, so now I've got to decide whether to powder coat it or just
paint it...

I just painted mine with a silver rim/wheel paint. Slightly more silver than the engine but, where it's at it isn't noticeable.

One other thing, for what it's worth...

Jaggs should have milled the surfaces where the A/N fitting tighten down on to. They don't and the casting isn't dead smooth. I ran a fine file over those surfaces to remove any roughness to lessen any chance the o-rings might tear when tightening the fittings down. I also lubed them slightly with a silicone grease just in case they wanted to rotate when tightening.

Well, it's going to be sunny, and temps in the low 50's, should be obvious what I'm going to do to my Sportster...

This is an example of why my bikes are NEVER 'stored' for the winter. Unhook the tender, turn the key, hit the starter button, and ride.

It was 50 today, Got the sportster out for a hours ride. To me a 200 or 50 ride is great. At my 81years any ride is great. "take care" D'Ray

Replaced my stock HD battery with an Antigravity 12-cell small case Lithium battery. Seems to start better now with minimal hesitation and stay in the info setting (gear/tach for me) when starting instead of resetting to the clock.

72 degrees today.........rolled it out of the spare houses' living-room........rode it around town.......rode out to my best bud from schools' grave (nice new headstone, he passed 3 months ago)..... then rode to the historic cemetery and visited my Sons and parents/grandparents graves.........then enjoyed a nice aimless ride around the country for a while.
Then after Bama lost the National Championship game.....I went and petted it until I felt better.
