Nice day to take a photo of the fleet. I call this picture “a rose between two thorns” The ss250 really gets some looks!

Nice looking fleet.

The 250 reminds me of my first bike, was an HD 250cc 2 stroke, in 1967, very similar but different colors. Rode the daylights out of that bike in both Ohio, and South Carolina when we moved there. I commuted on it 20 miles each way in SC. Didn't matter if rain or shine, to work at a field vegetable packing plant.

Wish I had kept every one I had. The 125 was first and a used 250 Sprint was second. Saw a restored 250 Spring on craigslist the $4800 the other day. Just a TAD over new cost

Man, that's a bug catcher! lol. I'd have to clean that daily. It would be full of splattered bugs. Cool design though.

I was worried it would be a bit clumsy near the knee area with the forward controls but it's actually not an issue at all.

Yesterday, Monday, I rode my Honda CTX1300 to the Thunderroad dealership in Gloucester, UK, for the last time.
Picked up the XL1200T, did the paperwork, paid the money, and rode home - via the store to get something for my wife can you believe!!!!
I'll be out again tonight to go to the Dog Training Club BBQ and on Saturday for our Armed Forces Day event that I've been helping ot organise.
Photos to follow on that event, should be a great day.

I looked last night at how to get the sissy seat backrest off, looks like a couple of torx bolts and hope that's it. I will leave the luggage rack as I want to mount my box on it, after I spray the top in gold and black to match the bike.

Nothing to it, but more like for it. Refinanced my loan through my credit union. Saving about 50 bucks on my monthly payment but more importantly keeping nearly $1200 of interest in my pocked instead

I got this one back on the road after 4 years in the corner. I had done the tank lift and tall risers with all associated work back in 2015, then I got a Flathead and in the corner she went. This summer I decided she needed to be available for terrorizing the neighbors. I did all the usual maintenance and fluid changes including the neck bearings, brake fluid flush, pads, fork oil etc. Tank lift got adjusted with home made front risers, ditched the rears which were making the tank sit weird. Also rebuilt the S&S, ethanol had her all gummed up. Then I ponied up some money for new sneakers, the one's on the bike were literally from the last millennium and hard as a rock. The Mrs showed a ton of patience and did the white lettering, bike is looking sharp.

PS I am the original owner, bought her with my father in February 1991, she has gone through several down times with out being ridden, but she keeps going with a little love. Original color.

Didn't get to ride today but I did remove the Sissy seat backrest. I want to use the luggage rack for my top box, essential for when I'm touring around.
Problem was that I couldn't find nuts to fit the original bolts so used some I had in my workbench jars, fitted the top box and put the original bolts into a plastic bag tied to the back rest and on a shelf.
It looks good but I'm still going to paint the top black and gold to match the 1200T. I'll post photos when I've done it.

That's a nice bike, great color. Very cool that the Mrs did the white letters.

i really havnt left my front yard, couldn’t fathom riding 40 miles. It’s an interesting time when the topic of a 2stroke HD comes into conversation. Mine is also a 75, crazy to see the prices these Italian bikes get these days, almost EFI sportie money.

Hey I paid less for my '07 Sporty than the guy is asking for his Sprint.
I looked, but he either just removed the ad, or sold it.
