I'm jealous. Spent all my summers up on Sand Mountain, Ga, with my Grandma. Mom still lives there. Dad is in Huntsville, Al. I'm in Texas now with NO bike! Ugh!, would love to have ridden with you. have fun, be safe.
Safe travels and enjoy the ride. Kudos to Kevin for offering to take mascot off your hands and to have a stopping point. Too bad you can't stop and see Dusty riding his pink scooter
It's actually that paint ford uses that changes color based on the angle you look at it at. From behind it does look pink. So people passed always think a pink bike is in front of them. This angle is black.
Besides if rog stopped up here he would have troubles keeping up, 1200vs883 is inane. The speed rating on his tires is slower than the speed I can cruise at.
Rib poking aside and done, good luck and keep the rubber side down. That tiny tank is going to mean atleast 15 gas stops. Even at 10 min a stop that's over two hours for gas, ouch. That's going to end up about 1/5 of your seasons riding in one day. Pretty courageous.
Well I made it, and in time. Got a few hours sleep, my animals wont let me sleep any longer. 1015.06 miles in 21:35:50 My arms and especially the right 3 fingers in my right hand dont move very well. When that goes away Ill write more. But to sum it up, 2 words..............NEVER AGAIN!

Glad to hear you made it Rog. Sometimes we need to admit we're getting too old for this kind of stuff, especially when it's done on a Sporty.
