I go through Midland from time to time. I live in Knox City which is about 3 hours away. I like to ride through Boarden county and Gail. When we do, we sometimes head to Midland. What a small world.
Burnie, My parents live up in Electra and we ride up there often. When we do, we ride up to Snyder, over to Anson then up through Haskell, Goree and Seymore so we are pretty familiar with your neck of the woods. Next time you're out this way, let us know. We'll go get a plate of TexMex. Pat

You do go through my neck of the woods. Heck, I bought my bike at Red River in Iowa Park. I coached at knox city for 8 years so I have spent many a day in all those towns. I work at Rule now which is next to Haskell. When you go that rout, you need to take the Roby (Sylvester turn of is the best road), Hamlin, Old Glory, Rule, then Haskell rout. It is little different ride. You would have to turn at Roby to hit the Sylvester rout, its a twisty little road, I have always liked riding it. You could also take the back rout through Throckmorton from Haskell instead of the Munday Goree rout. Its kinda nice some times. We will definitely need to stay in touch, we are practically neighbors.

Hey Burnie, thanks for the suggestions. We are always looking for a different route and the ones you've suggested sound great. We'll probably be heading up there again in late October early November, since my parents spend the summers in Ruidoso. Small world, our receptionists husband is from Rule (his parents are named Marin) and she's from Haskell. You picked a great dealership. The folks at Red River have always been nice when we've been in. We'll have to get together sometime. Pat
Sounds cool.
Oh, another route to look into is going through Borden County (Gail) and up through Snyder, Great ridding throught Boarden county. It is right off the caprock with lots of hilly, twisty roads. I road it all the time when I lived in Lubbock.
