Default 2017 Street Glide Special-Rear

Stock rear tire (170/60R17) about to be done and making the swap to the darkside soon, what is everyone running for this size? Suggestions?

I should add that a sidecar is in the process to be attached, not permanently but at times.

I’m running a Kumho Ecsta on my 2015 Ultra Limited. Seemed it had identical tread pattern on each outside edge, is a directional tire with a good load and speed rating. Though I can tell that it’s not going to last 30,000 miles.

Thanks for the reply, I believe your rear wheel is a R16 correct? How many miles do you have on it so far?

I’ve put 15,000 miles on it mostly one-up and a few thousand pulling a Lumina XL cargo trailer. It was a $79 Amazon purchase, 195/60r 16 89v with 3 oz. of balancing beads at 35 psi.

Ended up going with Dunlop 175/60R16 SP Winter Sport 3D DSST RunOnFlat.

Better siping in the rain, stickier on hot roads, a lot of good reviews, softer compound, etc. My stock lasted 15k miles, if this CT lasts any longer and performs very good I will purchase again, not a cheap tire but don't mind if the outcome outweights the cost.
