HARLEY: Screamin' Eagle Pro Street Tuner and '17 M8

I have a 2018 Ultra Limited w/M8 ... I bought it used with 2000 miles on it ... the previous owner had installed the SE Ventilator air cleaner but kept the stock mufflers ... included with the bike was a Street Tuner so I assume there was a different map installed with this configuration.
The bike runs great, it's just a bit quiet for me ... so I was going to put on the 4.5" Street Cannons and reflash to those components.
My questions ... is there a way of downloading whatever map is in there now and save it in case I hate the SC's and want to return to the stock pipes/map? Or at least a way of identifying what map is in there now in case I have to find it and reflash at a later time?
Thanks.

If you connect the VCI to the computer and the bike (with the ignition on and the run switch on) you may be able to see the Tune in the VCI. (I do not have the actual VCI hardware to verify this, I just have the software)
The open tune diaglog screen has two tabs on the right hand side, "Available Calibrations" (tunes included in the software), and a VCI Tab that will show the tune in the VCI.
If you can, open the tune in the VCI and save it with a different file name. Use the "Save AS" button at the top right of the screen.
A good training video for the Pro Street Tuner is available from HD-

Thanks ... I haven't received my cables yet so I can't plug in the Tuner however playing with the available configurations I only see one for 107 stage 1 (SE Air Cleaner and SE pipes) ... none for the stock config ... all the available tunes are for stages 1 - 4 ... makes me wonder if the base map (ie: stock config) is actually the stage 1 map (in my case B41000520C) ... which would indicate that one doesn't even have to flash if you are only doing SE AC and SE pipes ... I read somewhere else on this forum that a dealer actually suggested that ... no flash required if just moving to stage 1 ...
True or False?

I can say that my Stock 2013 Sportster tune did not match the SE Pro Super Tuner Stage 1 tune.
(the Pro Street Tuner does not have Stage 1 tunes for the 2007-2013 Sportsters)
The VEs varied by +- 13 % with an average of about +2%.
The ignition timing was considerably different in the stage 1 tune, averaging about +3.5 degrees more timing.
The Air Fuel Ratio table did not change in the stage 1 tune.
The Red Line changed from 6000 in the stock tune to 7000 in the stage 1 tune.

Slingshot383 . I understand that. So the question is what Tuner . Looking to hear from people who are like myself and are doing these things on their own. I have it down to 2 that I am considering . SE Smart Tune pro . And The Fuel Pak .
I am looking for some solid feedback as to the Pros and Cons on Both of these tuners . Anyone?
