I have a friend that lives there. Been trying to contact her, but says her number has been changed or disconnected, it worked last week.

Just wondering if anyone knows if that area took a bad hit from Idalia.

 

Well I'm only 5 mi from the Gulf of Mexico and we got virtually nothing, just some light rain here and there and very little wind. Inverness as farther east and farther north than me so I would imagine they didn't get any effects from the storm. Maybe she forgot to pay her phone bill.

 

I am not that far from Inverness. A bit north. Got some winds and occasional bands of heavy rains. Nothing really that unusual.

I think my 'ole friend dickey is onto something with his post above.

Also, no area code changed (which would not cause that issue anyway), no notable lightning strikes, tornado or anything else I could think of.

Kev-714, maybe dropping her a letter may be in order.
