Funny, after reading the above HOG posts, I saw this in my email. First, it was an announcement about Pompano HD closing. Then a reminder of upcoming rides. Now I know I know why SP wants nothing to do with the HOGs. This is what passes for an "overnighter" to them??? A ride to Stuart???? Gee... we did that Sunday just to grab some breakfast and meet up with friends ! Gee... would they need to tow their bikes to the Ocala Rally?

First Boca, now Pompano.... I hope Sunrise is not on the block next. I would start giving all my business to Peterson's if that were the case.

I wanted to get some quotes on adding some stuff to my FXDC. I was in the middle of haggling with the dealer in Naples and I wanted to get some quotes from other Harley dealers. The Pompano store quoted me 3 1/2 hours worth of labor to put on a compact detachable windshield to the bike. Meanwhile, Naples quoted me 1/2 hour of labor.
What is wrong with that picture??

1/2 hour to install a windshield? Takes me a 1/2 hour to find the tools.
I guess if you don't read the instructions it would save time? LMAO
I installed a windshield on a sportster I used to own. Pretty sure it took over a half hour. But HEY! If that is the quote you got, and if they don't charge more if they go over the alloted time, sounds like a good deal.
chuck the mensh......still hate to see Harley places close. I am lucky so far, living near daytona that as many shops as we have near here.....they stay open.

I was quoted 4 hours to do my handlebars.
