Well Crew, I will be heading to Homer from Key West on June 20th for the Hoka Hey Challenge. Hope some of you can join for part of the ride, the route will take me up to Mississippi first day, only part I know is that I will be heading up to Fla City from KW, from there it is not known which way I go as I have to follow a route, supposed to be secondary roads all the way.

Yeah Paul I picked up some Carharts and sprayed them down with scotchguard carpet protector, should be good for the cold, the most likely route has weather in the high teens low 20's (some snow) today so it mught be a little cold once out of Fla.

 

Also you will want to pick up some of those little hand warmers to put inside your gloves.

Jerry I am Proud of you for taking this on and wish you the best of luck. Remember you are representing the Florida Crew and I expect you to present yourself accordingly. This ride is a dream of mine and is on my Bucket List and I hope you can find a way to keep us updated on your progress daily. We will all be thinking of you the whole time so even if you don't see anybody else around you, rest assured that we will be riding right alongside of you the whole way. Are you going to ride it back to or ship it? I don't think anybody would blame you if you did ship it. How many miles total is the trip 1 way?
