Exclamation Love Bugs Season Spring 2014

It is early to start this thread but Love Bug sightings are starting to come in. I am guessing it is due to the very mild weather we have had.

Have you seen any love bugs yet?

So far there are reports in St Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. Somebody tooling up the Turnpike around YeeHaw Junction will find out for sure.

We've seen just one or 2 in PBC and Broward and at Cafe 27 last week. Rode to Stuart yesterday and didn't see any.

I'll let you know after my ride tomorrow. I'm heading SE from Tampa Bay to the country and it looks to be a bit warner. I hate love bug season....lots of car and bike washing.

Not sure......but it looked like a couple splattered on my faring in Cape Coral, what ever they are their bodies must turn into Super Glue when they dry. Thought I was going to rub the clear coat off cleaning those suckers off.

Ugh, I couldn't imagine riding my street bob with those little bastards around. We were down at the cruise port one year in May...OMG they were everywhere.
