Default Daytona Bike Laws

HI,

Heading to Daytona for the first time. I know there are ape laws and eye protection laws. Are there any other laws i should be aware about? like strobing tail lights, vertical license plates, etc?

also, what are the fines like, and is it like sturgis where you can get one ticket and not be ticketed again?

Any help will be appreciated, and can't wait to ride in the sunshine state!

Mike

Just my personal experience! Daytona Beach cops are very relax during the bike week, except speeding is what mostly will get you to be stopped.
if they really want to stop you, they will have reason.
I think you will have a good time.

You know the old saying. "Come to Florida on vacation. Go home on probation" but with that said the information above is sound. Ride quietly in Daytona proper.

The may help as well.

Thank you all for the advice. I'm definitely not a hooligan on the bike so what your saying is very reassuring.

Go, have fun, if you're not an a$$hole, you will have fun. Ride the loop, go to Ormond, Ponce Inlet, the track and Main St. Don't miss the Razorbacks at the Bank.

DO NOT
speed through Port Orange (a town south of Daytona on Mainland side) or Daytona Shores (town south of Daytona on beachside).
No burnouts or revving engines on Main St / Beach Street.....or you will get pulled over by a cop on a segway. (Ticket for you, Great photo op for everyone else.)
