Good Night Russ
Evening Woods, been a busy couple of weeks. Ain't even lurked I dont think.
Rode my new Road Glide home yesterday through the mountains. Handles quite well. Helluva a lot of transmission whine at 2000 rpms though. I thought a truck with deep grooved tires was passing me on the 4 lane the first time I heard it. Panicked when I couldn't find the truck in my mirrors. HAHA!
Since my wife is now riding I dont have the need for a Tour Pak to carry all of her stuff/****.
Getting stuck the George Washington Parkway after failing to complete Rolling Thunder was the last straw. My wife's first time riding and it ended being stuck in DC with a malfunctioning bike. I was NOT a happy camper and it ruined the whole f'n day.
Patriot HD in Fairfax VA, was an excellent dealer in sales, finance, service and parts. My best experience with HD by far.
