Real nice week here. ('cept the wind yesterday.)
Ran up 70 to Dillon, down to Fairplay & back to town via Kenosha Pass the other day. The aspens are leafing out.
Central City to Nederland & down Boulder Canyon next day.
Then up Peak to Peak & down Big Thompson Canyon which was re-opened last Thursday due to re-construction from the '13 flood which washed the road out. Slightly breezy in the hills but once I hit the flats, solid 40 gusty dusty mph hot side wind all the way home. Sorta sucked but tolerable.
Then 2day Golden to pick up a 21" fat spoke dual rotor rim & tire for an 08 SG. Strapped to my bike back to the kids house. Then a real nice graduation party at a park on the far west side with good food & beer. Then dinner consisting of pork chops, fried taters & salad. Then a b-day party for a guy who just got a DUI but ain't been to court yet.
Somewheres around 600 miles all told I think. Averaging around 42 mpg. Best tank was just under 44. Worst was 38 something stop & go city.
Thought the rear would be showing cord by now but she is holding up quite well..
Got a tire coming in Wednesday.
Indy told me they can't buy parts from the dealer anymore. Customers gotta bring in their own parts. Anyone heard this?
