This is for my 2019 Harley ElectraGlide Police FLHTP.

Does anyone else have the NC Quick Pass exterior decal on their motorcycle? I have seen the transponder 'box' mounted inside the trunk on the upper lid. But I am not sure that the decal would work the same way.

I pull trailers with my motorcycle frequently and they are now all registered. The agent from NC Quick Pass on the phone said I need to have the decal on my motorcycle.

I really do not desire to put it on the wind shield. I use I-540 and other toll roads enough to desire the discount one gets using the decal.

 

Is there a way to place it on the bike without sticking it there permanently? Maybe you could leave the paper backing on the adhesive side of the decal then get a clip of some sort and clip it to the windshield? That way you can put it on when you know youll use it, then toss it in the tour pack or bags when you dont need it.

 

I am not sure if this applies but I put the Illinois iPass sticker on the underside of my corvette frunk lid, it works fine. I am planning on mounting my iPass for the bike on the underside of my tourpak lid. We’ll see 😉.

I found this question also posted on Reddit (sp??) via a google search. Most stated that they attached the sticker on the inside of the trunk and it was working. I will experiment in the next few days. I get a discount using the NC Quick Pass decal. I guess tracking registered license plates still adds fees for me. I also put a decal on the inside of my Cargo trailer lid.

If it works on underside of the Corvette, it should work on the tourpak lid. **In theory** LOL
