Perhaps by now you've obtained a lift table? If not, I would not discourage you from getting one as they make wrenching so much easier. I picked this Hobo Freight one on Marketplace a few years ago and it handles sport bikes without issue. With my new road glide however, I can tell that it's approaching the limits of this table, so I'm pretty cautious when raising the table. Anyway, let us know what you end up with if/when you get one.

I've owned 1 new and 4 different used Harbor Freight tables over the last 20 some odd years with zero drama. I change the front wheel chock and I have a couple different flat jacks as well. Once I finally move into my forever shop, I'll probably buy a couple Black Widow's with all of the attachments so I can do other maintenance projects like my quads and riding mower.

I think the biggest issue with imported lifts, even the ones that cost a grand or so, is that there is no traceability as to the manufacturer, if you have a seal fail on the cylinder you may be out of luck.

I consider the Harbor Freight to be a throw away at the cost they are sold at, no biggie if a part fails, just buy another one.

But if you are considering one of the more expensive lifts, check and see if the seller can get replacement seals (before you buy the lift), if they can`t, be very wary.

I have owned 3 Handy Lifts and highly recommend them (yes, they have all the parts available).
