Let me say that I don't know you, therefore I don't know your riding skill, therefore this may not apply to you.

The problem I have with that underlined statement is that most people that I've heard say that, use that statement to justify their gross lack of riding skills and their unwillingness to try to improve said riding skills.

Like I said, not necessarily aimed at you, I don't know how you ride. I've just had lots of people say that to me who were terrible riders and rationalized it that way. And that's a biker trend that annoys the crap out of me.

 

I went on a ride with my neighbor....riding skills aside He told me; '' ride my own ride don't worry about me''.........seemed to work.

 

That funny never ran tats cause I didn't want to stand out in a line up, today I glow in the crowd cause I'm the only one without them ...........

back in the late 60s I ran into my friend James S
hadn't seen him for a while.

I asked him "what the fork are you doing James??"

he said "man, every time there's a murder on my side of town

James had been in a car wreck where the car flipped.
he had his right hand out the window and it got forked pretty bad.

if you look at his right forearm in the first pic you'll see a lot of scar tissue.
above the tissue is half of a Klan hood tattoo.

the entire tattoo was still there, but about a 3 inch wide scar divided it.

apparently the black surgeon wasn't happy with the hood.

I know it's probably real hot down there James.

Most things don't annoy me about riders. I figure to each their own. But this annoys me. If I'm riding alone and I fall beind someone I stagger behind them and stay in the right part off the lane. Some times the rider ahead of me will take the left part of the lane and other times not.

When I'm riding alone and someone falls behind me, I go into the left part of the lane and expect they stagger on the right. It annoys the living crap out of me when neither happen. I don't care if we'll be paired together for a block, a mile or 100 miles. When two or more bikes are riding close together in the same lane they should ride staggered. Road conditions permitting.
