Hey Guys,

Can anyone recommend a mechanic to do a 1200 upgrade on my 883. I have all of the parts. Fraziers quoted me 1500. Can’t do it. I am comfortable doing the work myself but live in an apartment. Just changed my clutch out in the parking lot and now My shifter isn’t moving freely and bouncing back after shifts. Bike performs just fine other than that. I have to move the shifter around with my foot to get it to the next gear. This wouldn’t have happened if I had my own space. I’m going to pull the primary back off and figure it out next week. I really don’t want to get into the engine in a parking lot. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Hartman Cycles in Canton. Great reputation. Been around forever. Only works on Harleys. The dad used to build and race bikes, so they'd be who I'd trust for that conversion.
They are good people.

 

Southern Cycles is not far from Fraziers, they installed my 12 inch bars on my bike because I wasn’t about to pay Fraziers a mint to do it.
