From previous thread. SG, feel free to start a new thread for this one so you can track interest.
1 or 2 or even3 days up to Maggie Valley. Can ride the BRP, see Wheels Through Time (Great place BTW). Maybe hit the casino in Cherokee.
Can head over to Gatlinburg and back across the Foothills Parkway then over to Cherohala Parkway, down through Robbinsville then up through the Nantahala Gorge on way back to Maggie.
It's a good place to home base from and the temps stay decent even in dead of summer.
Thunder in the Smokies is May 4-6 and from the ad below they are stepping up to the plate since the Cherokee Survivors Rally has been cancelled the last two years now.
Just a thought.

Please excuse this new thread as I'm not proficient in the software yet. The other thread needed some cleaning up so this was the easiest way for me to do it. I'll get better I promise!
I'll keep this post for touristy ideas. As you suggest them I'll add them here so they are easy to find.

Time to start chipping way at some of these don't ya think? We haven't done one single big group ride. Gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about it, especially how everyone was pumped up at the beginning of the year. Is anyone else ready????

OK a totaled truck and a bunch of travel had a little to do with my lack of scoot time too.
