I do the flags for the mission on the Trike and also have a collapsible flag pole in my tour pac for the mission display at the service both at the funeral home and grave site. We are looking at the group doing the flags with all the same flag pole and flag size for uniformity.. That takes a support vehicle to pack the equipment.
Go to the main PGR site and look for the ride captain for the area you want. They are listed with the different registered areas.Give them a call to find out what you need for their group.

The rear flag mounts are typically done with a hitch for the bike. You can get them with a receiver so you can make your mount to fit your style. There are manufactures that do a lot of hitch kits.

This is just one idea. This dealer does other types of hitches also. This type uses a slid in hitch, and they sell different accessories for flags.
Google is your friend here.

I keep running into the same problem, most hitches don't work on my '07 RKC, the one you linked to is for '09 and later models. There isn't a lot to work with here.

Whatever you decide, the flag line uses a 3X5 flag. If you put on your bike make sure it clears the ground at all times. My flag staffs are 6ft 4" for the USA flag and 6ft. for the other flags. I can use that flag for flag lines or motorcycle as needed. I have a collapsible 6ft pole in the tour pack for flag line use.
Also make your motorcycle pole so you can take the flag off for highway speeds. Your flag will self destruct at speeds over 45mph. You might make a couple runs ok, but take a look at your flag and it will tear the end right off !
You can also roll the flags around the pole, but you need to put a cover over the flag and velcro it solid. That said the flag covers that PGR sells are junk ! the seams come out easly..

Where'd you find the collapsible pole? I assume it is white, right?

The pole is black. Paint it white if you need to. It is a 70" mono stand for a camera. It took a lot of looking for one tall enough. I made some clips out of fine spring wire. They clamp the pole tightly and I have some clips to the flag. The extendable pole PGR has on their store won't last long. Not worth the price. Their pole uses a twist to lock that won't hold, or it wont turn loose to collapse.
The camera stand pole uses the lever locks at all the joints that work well.

My setup:
Flag is wrapped and covered when on the road.
PGR flag stays flying, and is 1” off the surface when on side stand.

Yep that pole holder is from Rivco, and it mounts with a single bolt through the hitch bar. Good system !

Plus one for Rivco! Give them a call, they are great and can fix you up on most bikes. They are not the cheapest but you will never need another system. I have one mounted to my 20 FLHTK with a 3 piece breakdown pole that fits in my tour pack well enough. Look for a flag store with “Monsoon rated” flag. We have a shop here in Mesa AZ that will sew corners so they don’t shred and are rated to higher wind speeds, I have ridden 60 miles at over 65mph and no trouble.

I have the Rivco flag holders for my 2019 Ultra Classic arriving today via UPS according to the e-mail. Ordered them back in March or April I think.

Was directed to a PGR guy with a motorcycle shop about an hour away from me. He said Rivco too and is not only ordering and installing the pole holder but created a breakdown flagpole using 3/4" PVC with Dowling inside for rigidity. it can be used for parade & flag lines. Says it's good to 85mph.

One last "new guy" question about PGR etiquette. There was a guy in my home town who always rode his Harley wearing PGF apparel and flying flags. Haven't seen him since Covid but do you guys fly your flags (large or small) all the time? Do you wear your PGR patched vest when riding and or just on a mission? Any hard or unspoken rules here I should be aware of?
