Default Patriotism Down South

This is the way a Soldier should be honored on their last journey.

Click on the link below.

SFC John C Beale was killed in action. His body was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, GA just south of Atlanta. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McConough, GA. There was only a simple notice in local papers indicating the route and approximate time. This video was filmed from a patrol car and the turnout was ...... well..... you just have to see it. If anyone thinks patriotism is dead have them watch this.

Is it just me, or does a display of patriotism like this bring everyone to tears? ...... What a shame, that none of the returning veterans of my generation (the Viet Nam era) ever saw a "thank you

That is truly a touching video taking from a crusier in the procession.

Here is a short video from a bystander of the front of the procession.

I attended a mission for a 19 year old PA National Guardsman a couple of months ago. The 20 mile funeral procession was just like what is in the video.

Patiotism is not dead.

Thank you John C Beale for your sacrifice.

I'm not used to watching from the sidelines, but rather seeing the procession from somewhere in the group of riders. Very impressive tribute to a fallen solider. RIP brother.

The Georgia PGR completed a mission for PFC John P. Dion killed in action in Afghanistan today. It was very touching to see residents in Taylor County stretching from Butler to Reynolds to Pottersville standing out in the rain holding American flags to pay their final respect for a fallen American hero. It wasnt just a few, but just about every house along the procession as well as many others who parked along the road in terrible weather. The PGR salutes the residents of Taylor County and thanks them for their standing for one who stood for all of us.

Patriotism is not dead.
