I do any mission I can and too many burials to count but have to admit I love the feel good missions. This one should leave few dry eyes from those attending.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a welcome home surprise for Staff Sgt Christopher Ollis' two children on Thursday 8/2/12.
Staff Sgt Christopher Ollis will be home from his fourth deployment, 2 in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan, and will be escorted from near his home in Maggie Valley to the Asheville Tourist baseball stadium on August 2, 2012 where he will suit up like the catcher to surprise his unsuspecting children.
SSG Christopher Ollis's 7 year old son Peyton believes the Asheville Tourists are having Military Appreciation night on Thursday 8/2/12 and that he has been selected to throw out the first pitch and has no idea the catcher will really be his dad . Also his 4 year old daughter Keira and wife Kayla will be on the field with over 100 family and friends in the stands.
Please join us in this once in a lifetime event that will remain forever in the memories of those in attendance and to say THANK YOU to an American hero for defending "our" Freedoms.

Dumber than a box of rocks is me....
****!!!!! I can't believe I got the dates mixed up. I thought it was next Tuesday for some stupid reason. The heck of it is the wife and I took a long ride that day and were not too far from there. I am soooooooooooo hating myself for being so stupid. Only excuse I have is I had been talking all week to people about starting a new work assignment and got distracted. Anyway my wife found the clip so here it is.
