Default SE Heavy Breather air cleaner held on by tape?

Just installed my SE air cleaner kit. Love it. But they dropped the ball on using double sided tape to hold on the air cleaner element. Seems real weak. Anyone else notice this? Any ideas on how to attach the element to the actual breather other then double sided tape??
Thanks.

Look like the element slides through the chrome piece and is band clamped to the intake tube together. Along with the double sided tape.

Yes. It's held on by double sided tape. The band does secure the end of it. But it's still held on by tape. I'll take a pic in the morning. You can look online at the instructions. You figure you pay $300 for something it would be better made.

That's why I went with Fuel Moto stage 1 air cleaner. I like the construction, fit and finish better.

The e element is held on to the tube with a clamp. Only the chrome accent ring is held to the element via double sided tape. Had mine over a year and it held jus fine. Your post is quite misleading
