Amen brother!!!
I'vewritten a few posts recently regarding Silverstar vs stock halogen. Through my own observation I deduced that even though the silverstars burned whiter they were considerably less noticable than the yellowish looking stock halogens.
Since my accident I have been making modifications that would improve my visability in daylight hours and after some research I can tell you that I will be sticking with my stock halogens.
I currently have the H4 silverstar in my headlight and stock halogen in my passing lamps. I asked about 10 different opinions which light they thought was more noticable, all voted for the stock bulb.

I just installed the Sylvania Silverstar. Two things, it does provide more lighting on the side, allows me to see more of the road and second, it shows up whiter than my two passing lights, which are still the factory bulbs and now look pale yellow. I hope this contrast alone will enhance my visibility to the blue haired driven cages running around Florida. I understand it did not actually increase the light output, but it was a small investment (20) to make me feel better.

I am thinking about adding the fog lights to my Ultra just for more notice during daylight. I run my headlight and passing lights ALL of the time now. I think the more lights the better for being noticed. It's all about being noticed.

A long time ago there was a mod on this board when it was Vtwintalk.com it gave instructions on how to make your passing lamps stay on while your high beam was on. Does anyone know where that is or how to do it. I would like to have my lights work this way. Tanks…

I've been looking for Yellow fog lights and can't seem to find anything but clear driving lights... Your right the fog lights would
stand out and be noticed...
Let me know if you find some, I think yellow hologen bulbs for the passing lamps would work also... can't find them either..
