Default three questions?????????

ive got an 07 EGC:

i need a sevice manual so can do those 400 oil changes myself and the other small stuff. any recc and a good source to buy from???

wnat to put a headlite modulator on the beast. do i have to pull the lite assem from the front to get at the plug for the bulb or can i get to the plug from under the fairing??

lastly-bought the lite kit that goes on the sides of the tour pack. instructions say i have to remove the trunk from the bike. shouldnt i be able to just loosen everything and leave the trunk where its at?

First off,I know lots of people hate admitting it but, harley makes a really good manual, just gonna cost about $58 bucks. The easiest way to get to the headlight is simply take chrome ring off then 4 screws hold it in if you just need in bucket,if you have to get behind the headlight its also easy place something over passing lamps (towel old socks etc) take three screws out remove windshield got to inside 4 screws two by speakers two low near triple tree outer fairing comes off reach in unplug light,as far as tour pak have never taken one off...but how hard can it be? Good luck .....

You need to remove the fairing like texas tom stated above to install the modulator, if its plug and play so much the better, why not put in a tune trapper hidden antenna while your in their, and some fairing mount mirrors. button it up, it uses 25 and 27 torx I think.

Tom and Gordon are right. It's no big deal to pull the outer fairing off. While You're in there, get You some Hogtune speakers http://www.hogtunes.com/ for $100.00 and install them at the same time. It's money well spent.

When removing the outer fairing..............

Take the four screws on the inner fairing off FIRST, then move to the three outer screws, with the center screw being the last one removed. (Saves the fairing falling on your front fender, or against passing lamps)

When taking out the front three, just loosen them at first and GENTLY wiggle and lift out your windshield.

Google Zanottis Harley Davidson. Great prices and discounts everything. I bought my Service Manual on eBay. Another place for great prices.
