RE: Headlight Visor Install on RKC
What worked for me on my Ultra Classic was to loosen up (Don't remove) the screw a little bit on the stock ring, then slip the visor over it. This allows the visor to slip behind the stock ring as designed. Tighten the stock ring while paying attention to the visor (Alignment). I thentightened up the visor. I was able to attain the hairline joint when I finished.
Hope this helps.

Yup. alot of concern to this, I changed mine to the eyebrow visors and the headlight was the only 1 I was unable to close completly. I found the same as dawg, let it sit and weekly tighten it, it helped but still a slight gap...... you may have to live with a slight gap not sure how much pressure the little tabs will take before "snapping" due to tension

I was informed by a HD service tech that the headlight trim visor is made to be installed "over" the stock trim ring. In other words, don't take the stock trim ring off, just install the headlight trim visor over the top of the stock trim ring. I hope this helps...

RE: Headlight Visor Install on RKC
I've done a lot of research on this problem and actually called the MoCo about it. They don't have an answer for the problem...but they were kind enough tosend me a picture of the engineer who created it.

RE: Headlight Visor Install on RKC
Instructions say to install over stock ring. I did it that way and came to the conclusion that the piece is just made to have a small (ugly) gap at the bottom of it. I still like the overall look enough to keep it on though. I really have to get some pics of my scoot.

I am no expert, but after trying everything else i followed the written if not confusing directions VERY carefully. If you loosen the original trim ring screw and pop the trim visor over it and leave the ORIGINAL screw a half to a full turn loose and tighten the new visor screw, you will end up loking like this....It is a very snug fit
It takes some working but it is barely noticable anymore
Good Luck!
