I picked up a service manual for 2012 touring models after I had it for a while I went to do some work on my bike and I noticed in the list of bikes it covered my flhtp was not listed. Does anybody know if I need to get another book specific to my bike or aside from wiring are they the same.

 

there is usually a police supplemental manual- mechanically the same...really the only differences are in the wiring harness.

now IF the bike has been in service, the wiring may have been altered...so the diagram in the manual may not be of much help.

if the bike has not been in service the diagram may be handy.
