Default First impression new Corbin seat

I finally got my new Corbin seat yesterday. They told me 3 weeks build time, and I got the seat in 22 days. Cant beat that. This seat couldnt be more comfortable (ok, I only sat on it for a few minutes) but I could tell that it isnt "Cushy" soft. It pretty much fits me right away. The OEM seats always seemed so soft and plush in the showroom, then killed the **** 30 minutes later. The saddlemen I have was unpleasant at first, and only seemed to get worse with miles. Obviously, I need to do an all day ride to give a thorough review, but initially, I'm very pleased. FWIW, I did all my phone contact/ordering through the ormond beach Fl location. Much better customer service.

This is my first "New" one. I purchased a used bike years ago that already had a Corbin seat on it and it was so-so. Probably not a good comparison as it had already broken in to someone elses backside.

I've never understood the 'running in' thing with Corbin seats, but then we have been riding on the same one for, oh, about 13 years!

I had a Corbin on my 1999 Ultra. I loved that seat. I just bought a back rest for my sporty Tour pack. I will be buying a seat in the near future.

I have been riding Corbin's since 1995. I can ride 500-600 miles a day with no problems, I have never had to "break one in", and have never had one that wasn't well made and comfortable. On my latest bike I tried to just get used to the factory seat. That lasted till the end of the first 500 mile day.
