The most common answer I see to questions like this is "Have you checked your manual?" If not, why not? It has pretty comprehensive information on all you will need, as well as being handy for repairs and maintenance.Good luck, but beg, borrow, or buy a manual for your bike.

Do http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....HOCK-ABSORBERS.. You will probably have to do you year and model again. Do Harley OEM part finder. then year and model.. Pick Frame swing arm and jiffy stand in the fish

Yes, and the nut will only come off one side, the other being welded onto the shaft and that needs to be pulled on order to remove and install the swingarm bushings. The stock bushings are fine. Its the clevis blocks that are the weak spot. I chose to install Nylatron bushings while I was in there. That made for a huge improvement in swingarm stability with not much effect on vibration either.

There are two bushings, one each side of the swingarm pivot. Take a look at one of the on-line parts websites, like this one, where you will find a diagram of every part involved.

Be aware that the swingarm pivot also supports the rear of the trans/engine unit and that axle cannot be removed, to swap swingarm bearings, without supporting the trans. It is not a task you should tackle until you have studied what is involved! The trans/engine unit weighs at least half the weight of the bike.
