IF you decide to get a used bike, chances are you will not like the stock handle bars on the pre-2014 bikes (unless they've already been changed out by a previous owner). Try the bikes out, sit on them, ride them if possible, and if you don't like the bars, see if you can work out a switch as part of the deal. Most people changed them out for the Heritage "Style" bars that are currently stock on the 2014 and 2015 bikes.

Glad you were able to get a dealer to locate a 14 for you. My sales lady and I were talking, me complaining that I didn't really care for the 15 colors but I really loved the amer whiskey/ silver 14. Oneday I get a text from her and they are unboxing a 14 in that color. The rest is history.....

Oh and I don't believe that the 15 has a hydraulic clutch. In fact the only difference betweent the 14 and 15 is color choice.

First deal fell through so looked at another dealer and came up with this. It's a 2014 in Mysterious Red Sunglo. Went and put a deposit on it today and should finalize deal my next weekend off. Really pumped about this one.

 

You'll love it, but of course I'm just a tad biased...

 

nice bike! that 4-point dock will come in real handy - your wife will appreciate the backrest and you can add a luggage rack and soft bag for longer trips.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be bringing the Road King home and the Super Glide will find a good home. Was kinda sad loading up the Super. But need some more comfort.
