Question average miles

whats average milage on a stock TC88 without horse beating it all the time ,, just turned 53k on mine today ,, so when is it going to be due for a freshening up??

as long as your taking care of the cam chain tensioners your only half way there.

150,000 on mine (but I've got the forged crank and Timken lefty bearing, yours doesn't) but I'd still trust it to see 100,000 before you split the cases and freshen it all up.

I did the SE tensioner upgrade , the one with the plate , pump, chain and gears, about 39k if I remember right , so the spring type is out of there

bought my first TC88 new. At 10,000 miles rear cam bearing went south. Dealer rebuilt motor, I sold it with 88,000 miles, nothing done to motor in between.

74000 on my 2003 FLHTC. Did the screaming eagle tensioner and oil pump upgrade at 40000. Still runs good as ever.

110000 miles replaced the cam shoes at 52,000 didn't upgrade -- shoes looked about 1/2 worn at the time

77,000 miles on my 2000 ultra. Did the screaming eagle tensioner and pump upgrade at 65,000 miles
