Default 2015 King for me

Ok here is my first post in the touring section! I currently have a sportster iron 883 and if all goes well I am trading it in today on a 2015 Road King!. A little background on me, I am a big guy and I have been trying to make the sporty comfortable. Honestly as much as I have tried I can not stand the bike anymore. I love the way it looks and I get a lot of positive comments on it, but it rides rough. I think in the back of my mind I knew the day I bought it, that the bike was wrong. At the time it was all I could afford. Numbers dont lie though and after a year and a half of owning the sporty it only has 2655 miles. That tells me I don't enjoy riding it much.
Anyway, wish me luck.

Good luck! I went from Night Rod Special to a '15 RK, and haven't regretted it one bit!

Welcome to this side of the fence.

I'm not as big but my size fits my Sporty just right. Having an RK, I agree with others, you'll love it, especially the cruise. Might be a little late but I would opt for the ABS as you also get the linked brakes.

Post up some pics when you get it!

Had a Sporty too, and 6'1", it is a bit small. The King is like sitting in a barcalounger compared to the Sporty. Enjoy it!

First bike was Heritage softail, next 3 bikes were Ultras, love my Roadking. So versitle. Just ordered chopped tourpak with mustang seatback to match RK seat. Street glide fenders front an rear. Heated grips, Thundermax, Velociraptor, more.

It's called the King for a reason. Nice choice!
