Screamin eagle street tuner???
Is this a good tuner setup or is there better out there? I got this installed With a stage 1 ac, dresser duals and slip on's. I just want to know if I can get a better tuner setup other than a screaming eagle and gain some more hp or anything to that affect.
What are you guys using for a tuner and if you like it or which brand would you recommend.

I traded my Power Commander for the Screaming Eagle tuner only because when I had my cams installed, the dealer's dyno tuner only tuned with the HD tuner.
I guess it works as good as any but it is not easy to tweak the map like the Power Commander is.

I had a SERT on my 07 RG back then, and it soon became out dated and if you ask any tuner today they dont have the software anymore so they hate it. 2 years ago a builder installed PCV and that bypassed my 02 sensors, and what Ive learned is that the PCV tends to trick the ECM into making adjustments, rather than reading actual values in the exhaust accurrately.
I have done some more research and spoke with credable tuners and they all recommend TTS master tune, so thats what I will use next time.
The owner of TTS originally built the SERT for HD then when they didnt renew with him, he built the TTS Master tune.
Different shops will only use what they are comfortable with and not deviate, and some will badmouth other products to make theirs appear better.
In retrospect, the SEPST was the newer version of the SERT, when I had the SERT it was ok for the average engine mod, so I would say the pro is more than adequate. As far as tweeking the most numbers out of something for a 900 lb turd, is all for bragging or smoke and mirror rights.
For what you did is fine.
As Vickers said, PCV is easy to tune so less intelligent mechanics can do them easily. Ask me how I know!

I would go with TTS or PV, both cost less than the SE products, and IMHO are better.
If you GAVE me a SESPT or a SEPST, AND a $100 bill, I still wouldn't put it on my bike.
But that's just me.
