Without kids, we are not constrained by "back-to-school" scheduling. So our summer extends into September when we head out west from the Gulf Coast of Texas to enjoy the cooler air and much better riding options of Colorado. With all the road grit that comes with extended road trips and packing the bike for 9+ days, protection for both the fairing and saddlebag covers would be welcomed for sure!

Plan on moving from Pensacola, Fl to North Carolina. Gonna take the scenic route through Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and then across North Carolina. Gonna be loaded down.

Just finished heading to Mountainfest 2015 in Morgantown West Virginia on my 1994 FLHTCU. Cannot beat the winding mountain roads, and the weather was perfect. Got to see literally thousands of other fellow bikers, and came back with another 20 ideas for that next upgrade.

Also took a number of great day trips, including one to Cleveland to see The Christmas Story House, and down to The Smoky Mountains for a long weekend.

Ride safe everyone!

Small world! God bless your son. I'm in Delaware, Oh, and my son is just about to complete his Nuclear training in Ballston Spa, NY. I am riding out to see him in a few weeks before he is deployed out.

Sorry for the crappy garage/cell phone pics. I'm downrange and they're all I have! My summer plans are to take the wife to Cripple Creek Colorado for a few days when I get home from this trip!
