Question 06 road glide no fuel

Need help. I have a 06 road glide. While out riding with the wife all day. We stopped to eat and when we were ready to leave. I ran out of gas. Someone was nice enough to give me a gallon of gas to get going but,,,, it didn't help. The bike wouldn't start. After getting it towed home. I tried to get it started with no luck. I've checked all the fuses and they're good. I checked for spark and I've got spark. I pulled a plug and it's dry. I checked for codes and it's clear. No codes at all. It seems like it's not getting fuel. When the ignition is turned on the fuel pump runs like it should. Is there a pressure release valve to check for fuel on the EFI? I'M at a loss as I'm not familiar with bike EFI's

Did you check the quick disconnect fitting at the bottom of the the tank? People have experienced the o-ring failing and that causes the fitting to restrict the fuel flow.

+ 1. If that o ring went bad there will be no fuel going to the fuel injectors

As far as the pressure relief vale goes, remove the filler cap, put your ear close to the opening, then turn the ignition switch on. If you hear what sounds like raw fuel just splashing around in there, it could possibly be a split intake line in the tank, but before you worry about that, try disconnecting the fuel line from the quick connect, and reattaching it.My '08 did exactly what you described, and pulling the fuel line loose, then back on fixed the problem. The raw fuel slosh sound you should get just means that the relief valve is doing its job to prevent overpressure. Good luck.

The in tank fuel pump has a hose from the discharge side of the pump to the quick disconnect fitting in the tank. The hose sometimes fails. I had a split in mine, and while it still delivered enough fuel for the bike to run, any kind of load on the engine would make it stall and sputter. Perhaps yours has failed altogether.

Musician nailed it. After disconnecting the fuel line it runs fine now. I want to thank everyone for the replies and helpful information. I'm new to this forum but I really like what I see. I'm sure I'll be reading alot and learning as I go.
Thanks to everyone. ....
