I am thinking about changing the reach myself. Isn't there a riser or a block to raise the handle bar somewhat ? Any recommendations ?

I also have an 09 RKC and needed to change out the bars. Tried the actual Heritage bars and had them cut out, but they didn't to the trick.. Bought some Wild Ones 517 and I love them. A friend installed them..we lengthened the left side wires but didn't need to according to Wild Ones…we just did while we were in there. I needed more pull back and ended up with almost a wheel barrow effect..They work for me!

They have a nice selection of bars at a reasonable price.

I to have the 09 RKC and put on Wild-One Chubbies 504.
