I just bought the Slipstreams. Haven't got to ride bike yet but the build, fit and finish is great. Can't wait to see how they sound on the road. I was leary because of the Kurtakyn name but very impressed so far. And so many tuners recommend them now.
Hey buddy, can you keep a secret! Hahaha....
You learned from the same guy I did. And not everyone knows, there are more technical forums. With world class tuners that have been there and done that.
Kurakyn is Synonymous with chrome doodads and leather goodies. Who would have know?
Most of the really cool slip ons (CFR, V&H, Rhinehart, etc) are not the best performers. Or, so I've read.
Also, most don't know that the factory header has made 140h/p+ on big builds. I would use the factory header to 120h/p without flinching.
Seriously though they don't sound unlike any other muffler. Well except a D&D and CFR. I think the Kuryakyn name will shy a lot of people away from it.
My buddy has crushers on his ultra, and it sound nothing like v&h or anything else. It's got a very unique sound to it never heard another exhaust like it.
