Default Truck-lite ph7 questions

Installing a TL phase 7 in my 13 SG tomorrow. From those that have them, what has been the best best aiming point for them? Aimed according to the maintenance manual, slightly higher or slightly lower? Also according to the research I have done on them, there haven't been many failures. Anyone here had a problem or failure? if so, how old and or how many miles on the light?

Install, switch on and then adjust to taste. Leave the chrome trim off until happy. Even a change in halogen bulb can require that.

I went a smidge lower than manual setting & no maint issues to report. LED still burning bright after 3-yrs now.

The few photos I've seen showing before and after, of various headlight options, are not as convincing as seeing the difference in real life. I haven't heard of many TL owners who have changed back!
