A few weeks ago, I was running down a 2 lane blacktop and came up on a truck towing a flatbed. He was nice enough to pull over and let me around. Unfortunately, his trailer drifted off the shoulder and threw a huge rock into my fairing. Didn't punch through it, but there was 2" of flaking paint.
As long as it was in the shop, had a little airbrush work done. I just got it back yesterday. The black and gray are the same ones used in the rest of the factory paint. The colors explode in the sunlight.
Sometimes simple is better.
