Cool washing my Ultra

I recently upgraded from a xl1200c sporty to a 2010 Ultra Glide. I want to wash it but I'm not sure what to avoid getting wet. If I wet the whole bike will the speakers get jacked up also all the gauges and CD player etc. Any tips would be appreciated.

Just wash the bike like normal. Radio and speakers can get wet but you are not like keeping constant high pressure on them either. If you have a plug in port on your radio make sure it has the rubber plug in it. Dry the bike~ ride!
It's normal for the gauges to fog or see moisture in them sometimes especially when it gets colder out. Just like riding in the rain.

Yep exactly. The stuff can get wet but don't go nuts washing them. I use a backpack blower to dry my bike off and hit the electronics first to make sure all the water is out of them. Enjoy your new bike!

The bikes are designed to be ridden in the rain. You won't hurt it by getting it wet. As others have mentioned, just don't dial up the pressure washer to full blast and TRY to get water into the radio or whatever.

i used to dry my 08 ultra with a leaf blower. but when the radio stopped working i sent it to iron cross for repair, they said the leaf blower forced water into the radio , very common problem. but never any other issues . 8 years and 50,000 miles. enjoy the best touring bike on the planet !!!

+ 1 on the leaf blower , just don't flood your switches

If you have a stock stereo, you have nothing to worry about.
I have a full aftermarket Biketronics sound system and Sony Headunit. I just use a splash plate for the headunit and I don't soak the speakers. They do get a little wet but I'll quickly dry with a leaf blower.
If my system is fine, I'm sure yours will be.

There's really no need to spray the dash at all. Wash the rest of the bike with the hose. Wipe the dash with a damp microfiber towel. I use a paint brush with a tiny bit of Armorall or something similar around the gauges.

I spray my windshield with water, and just let it trickle down onto dash. I do use a leaf blower to dry. I think I will dry radio with microfiber. Good idea.

I wash the Ultra just like I would my SUV, except I stay away from dash. I dry with leaf blower like others have said.

The dash and inside of the fairing get cleaned/conditioned with 303 protectant.
