Default Road King Guys

I keep wanting to stretch out my legs on long trips. My bike just has the factory crash bar. I am looking at different foot pegs. It hard to tell which ones actually work. I hate to spend a 100 bucks and be pissed off...lol
So what pegs are you guys using???
Thanks

I've got basic mounts on my crash bar with the Willie G pegs from HD. I'm 6'4 with 32" inseam so completely understand about stretching out. I repositioned my pegs where I can rest my heel on the floorboard and toe on the peg. There are many different positions you can do to get comfortable, you just have to try for yourself and see what works. Good luck!

Like Patriot said, it really isn't the peg so much as the mounting position, and there are endless ways to mount them.

I bought the factory MOCO 360° mounts. They work perfectly. Put the pegs almost anywhere you can imagine. Work with lower fairings and are well under $100.

I have the same thing on both my bikes and once you get them where you want them, they are great. As another mentioned, set them so you can put your heal on the floorboard and toes on the pegs and also where you can put your feet directly on them. That will give you three foot positions to switch back and forth from while you burn a tank on the interstate.

Tip to save money, ask the dealer if they have any take off pegs they would give you or sell cheap. Most dealers have a pile of stock parts they took off when buyers customize their bikes when new and the new owner didn't want. Stock pegs from a sporty or dyna work great.

I use the HD long angled adjustable mounts.

I've got a set of the HD 360 (shorter) mounts you can have if you decide those are the ones for you. PM me.

I have the HD 360 mounts and they are awesome. They take some time to set up initially but that is only because the positions they allow are ridiculous. I am 6' 3" and they allow me to stretch my legs almost all the way with the feet on and still have the ability to put heels on pegs for full stretch.

I've got the short angled adjustable mounts and I still sometimes adjust their positions a little bit.

Honestly though this is really personal preference and leg length. When I asked what would fit me best the parts guy at my local dealership had me sit on a couple of used bikes they had for sale that had pegs on them. Those different options helped me narrow down what kind of mount I was going to need.

X2

If you can't find a comfortable peg position using these mounts, you never will.

I have the same set up only I have the milled mounts. I like to keep my heel on the floorboard and toes on the peg. But I can rest my heel on the peg if I really want to straighten out. Im 6'2".
