Probably a dumb question. Trying to determine what the minimum increase in HP /Torque is needed to actually feel a significant difference.

Its relative to each rider, however the increase in power is noticeable by most for sure. One way to put this into perspective is the +11Hp/13Tq in our example above is more than the difference in HP/Tq between the factory M8 107 and 114 engines, most riders feel this is pretty significant. Besides the peak power there is smoother running, better throttle response, and cooler engine temps.

I remember my '12 SG bone stock when I got it. Did headers, mufflers, tuner, & air cleaner at the same time. Huge noticable improvement. Changed cams and dyno tune a little later and again a noticable improvement.

For those interested here is a dyno chart for one of our M8 120 combinations. This one has the Wood WM8-999 cam, our soon to be released M8 Level B heads and a production version of the Jackpot 2/1 Road & Track exhaust. We have three new M8 cams from Bobby Wood to test and we also have some throttle body & manifold testing we are working our way thru.

Stupid question here.

What is the best combo for High HP and TQ in the lower rev range? Like at 4000 rpm and below? I know most people will never rev their bike to rev-line all the time but getting the most hp right at the shift point would be a good combo.

This is a pretty broad question, as it all greatly depends on the year/model of your bike, the components used, as well as the overall objectives. If you can give us some preliminary info we are happy to help.
