See if Toodles is a smart dog or a dumb one...
A good boot in the face should do wonders for the average dog as to not do that again...
Keep us abreast of just how smart Toodles really is...

Let the dog get close enough that he doesn't see the parked car you are about to go by.....real close. I had one that hit that parked car so hard he never came after me again.
When I was a kid there was a big black lab named Aki that used to chase me on my bicycle andmini-bike.That sucker was mean.I took a fuel bulb for our model airplane and filled it with ammonia (thanks for the tip Dad), and when that phukker came out after me, I sprayed it in his face. He folded up like a cheap suit, hackin and gaggin, and never chased me again.
After several charges while I came up his street, I remembered that the dog would do that and just where he would come from. I rode up his street at normal speed and when I saw that critter charge me, I timed it so he would contact my crash bar about where his canine teeth are. That cured him.
I take it this is another one of those " don't ask me how I know?"
Used to have a dog meet me in the road about mile out of town.
Usually just dodged him.
One night I did couldn't see him till he was right on me.
Tried to bite the front tire.
Highway peg and mount on engine guard caught him in the head.
Thought it killed him, damn near laid me down he was big shepherd.
Next day a big puddle of blood on the road marked the spot but no dog.
about week later me and buddies were heading out, there's the dog on side of road.
Guess he recognized the sound of the bike, he turned and went back to safety.
Hasn't chased my bike since that was 2 years ago.
Had another about 1/4 mile from house, had to shoot it with a pellet gun, owners refused to tie him up. He don't chase me no more either.
But I'm with a couple others the pooch toodles is violate the leash law. If owners don't be nice, report them.

Bryan,
Buy you a can of this stuff....one shot in his face and he'll never bother you again. But be careful and don't spray into the wind so it'll come back into your face or you and Fifi will both be lying on the side of the road.

I've used it a few times on black bear and they just plain don't like this sh*t!
