Default 2013 RG handlebars

guys I need help. Educate me on whats needed to install 12 or 14 inch bars on my pre rushmore RG. Iv read and searched till im blue in the face. some say 12 inches needs wiring extensions some some done.

is the control wiring extensions separate from the wires on the throttle sensor wiring?

Will I need extending brake and clutch lines on 12 or 14 inch bars.

Im a newb when it comes to changing bars on the touring models.

12 is close. And it depends on the bar. I know the Road6 11" are doable. The 14s are going to need extensions. I never did the bars on my 11 so I'm not that familiar.

Pop over to roadglide.org where it's all about the Roadglide.

Default Road Glide Bars

I had Heritage bars on my 11 RGU and must say they were comfortable on long trips, however I don't know about the extensions but I don't think they were installed along with my bars.
