Default New Bars

It was Christmas in June and had to make a handlebar change this weekend. I previously had Road 6 Customs Holey Roller bars on, and just couldn't get comfortable. Not to mention that in only having them for a year, the powder coating was bubbling and peeling away. I was very disappointed to say the least. I don't like paying that much for something that doesn't stand the test of time. What was really frustrating is that I keep it in the garage, so there was no reason for the powder coating to peel away.

My new bars?...WO518 RK II bars. For all of my shoulder issues, this immediately took the burn away and put me in a better position. For all of my research, I only found one small mention in these threads about cables and wires and it was way up in this thread. YES: Stock cables and wires fit. I did not extend anything and have full turn radius to both sides. I will replace the brake line to a 90 degree fitting in a few months, but for now, I have no complaints. The hole was more narrow to get the wires through, but patience will win out.

I know these aren't for everyone, but if you are trying to determine if stock lines and cables will work, then "YES" is your answer. If you want to replace cables for the look, then +2 would be enough and really only on the brake as there was more than enough on the clutch side.

Can anyone tell me what the center-to-center hole spacing is on sides of the head light nacelle? I have an '18 heritage and I'm thinking about removing the light bar and putting the road king special nacelle on it. I'm curious if the hole spacing on the triple trees is the same.

Please look at the photos i posted.
I'm looking exact for that on the pics.
Clean look, near by the main light and blinker, passing lights in a straight line from the side view.

Oh, I see now. That's not the stock RKS headlight assembly. That looks like its off a softail slim?

Sorry man, can't help with that one.

What matters the most is that they work for YOU and make the bike fit you better. Big win. For me, stock bars were fine but rotated back a bit til they still cleared the tank at full lock. Ergos were better, and lost a slight pain that would develop in my left lat.

About to take my RKS in to get 16" Apes put on, figured while they are at it might as well move the turn signals. Does anyone have a link or info to the Auxillary light kit they installed successfully (Not HD $$$)? I'm looking on the big A and the big E sites, but most are for earlier model RK's not 2017 and most of the paint quality is fair at best.

Yes, Pics will be posted

Bone stock, I guess I'm just posting out of excitement of having it less than a week. Beautiful bike.....that sounds like a Honda Shadow out of the box for some reason. Long live my old Softail, one bike cannot be all things and it will be missed!
